2016 EB-5 August Visa Bulletin -Still No Changes For Mainland China Applicants
The EB-5 August Visa Bulletin released by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs reveals no change for Mainland-China visa applicants. Just like the July Visa Bulletin, the cut-off date for August 1 remains February 15, 2014.
This means that as of August 1, any Mainland-born Chinese applicants who filed I-526 petitions prior to the February 15, 2014, deadline will be able to proceed with their EB-5 application process and either schedule their interviews or apply for an adjustment of status to receive their conditional visas.
While Mainland-China born applicants face this backlog, applicants from other countries around the world are able to proceed with their applications without problem. The EB-5 August Visa Bulletin lists all other countries as "C" or current for both 5th categories (non-regional center and regional center). To learn more, visit the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs website and view the EB-5 August Visa Bulletin by clicking here.
