After the AILA and IIUSA EB-5 Industry Forum at the end of October, USCIS released a treasure trove of EB-5 data.

This includes statistics showing what the I-526 Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur approval rates are for the top 10 EB-5 countries. The I-526 petition is a required step in the EB-5 process and approval gives EB-5 investors and their immediate family members conditional green cards.

These are the average approval rates of I-526 petitions in the fiscal year 2017 according to the data from USCIS:

South Korea: 97%China: 93%Vietnam: 92%Taiwan: 92%Brazil: 90%India: 87%Mexico: 84%Russia: 80%Venezuela: 80%Iran: 77%The average worldwide form I-526 approval rating for FY2017 was 92%.
