EB-5 Visa Bulletin For December 2018

KAPIN PLLC New York EB-5 Immigration Attorney

The Department of State—Bureau of Consular Affairs has released its EB-5 Visa Bulletin for December 2018.

This visa bulletin reveals big movement for Vietnamese applicants, but little advancement for Mainland-China applicants.

Final action dates for Vietnam advanced two months to May 1, 2016. Final action dates for Main-land China advanced one week to August 22, 2014. All other countries are “C” or current.

Dates for filing have unfortunately, not advanced for investors from Mainland China. The date remains October 1, 2014. All other countries dates for filing has remained “C” or current.Additionally, for investors seeking to adjust their status by filing Form I-485, USCIS states to use the chart for “Dates for Filing” chart rather than the “Application for Final Action Dates,” chart that they’ve typically used in the past. This means that USCIS is pushing the dates back further. For more information about EB-5 Program cut-off dates, send us a message.[formidable id="11" title="1"]
